These ground rules are not exhaustive and are subject to change during the process, at my discretion.
Keep it 16+ appropriate.
I’ll announce commission openings on Twitter, Bluesky, Instagram, Tumblr, and Cohost. They’ll either be open for a period of time, or until slots are filled.
When filling out the form, be specific enough with your idea. Please don’t put placeholders like “let’s talk”.
If I accept your commission, I’ll be in touch via email. Just so you know it’s me, I’ll include a quick summary of what you entered in the commission form.
I do not respond to inquiries I decline, to reduce noise in my communications pipeline. However, I may reach out if I’m still interested in your commission for the future.
Once we agree on the details, I’ll give you a quote. The price may be higher or lower if it’s more or less complex.

Commissions are only open via announcement. Fill out the form and I’ll get back to you via your email if I accept your commission.
I try to keep my pricing fair and sustainable for my cost of living, and physical/mental well-being.
If you accept the quote, I’ll send you an invoice once I’m ready to work on your commission, due upon receipt. For commissions above $100, you may pay half up front, and the other half before final delivery.
I only accept payments in USD through the invoice sent, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon. Please pay with your own payment method. Do not use your parents’ or guardians’ payment methods.
If you choose to cancel the commission during the sketch phase, you’ll receive a 50% refund of payments received, along with a copy of the work in its current state.
If work has proceeded past the sketch phase, payments received are non-refundable and the full amount is due if not yet fully paid. You’ll receive a copy of the work in its current state.
If I choose to cancel your commission at any point, you’ll receive a full refund of payments received as well as a copy of the work in its current state.

If you cancel during the sketch phase, you’ll get a 50% refund. Any further and the remaining amount is due. In either case, you'll receive a copy of the work done so far.
I may work on other commissions, non-commission work, and personal projects while your commission is in progress.
I aim for a turnaround time of one month, or sooner. This may change anytime due to personal, work, or health reasons. If something comes up, I’ll let you know.
I’ll update you as necessary while I work through my queue. Similarly, please be available enough to approve updates.
You may request small changes for WIPs and the finished work. Large or very frequent changes will either be billed by time and effort, or respectfully declined for practicality or artistic direction.
Once you approve the finished work and all outstanding payments are received, I’ll send you the deliverables.
You’re ultimately responsible for keeping your copy of the finished work, so please save them somewhere you can find them! You may ask me for a copy if you misplace yours.

Your commission should be finished in a month’s time, and I’ll let you know if something comes up.
Feel free to request small changes as I go, but large or frequent changes will cost extra or be respectfully declined.
I’ll send you the finished work once you’ve approved it and paid the invoice in full.
If your commission includes a physical part, I’ll either mail it to you or deliver it in-person (for example, at a convention) if convenient.
I send mail with USPS, and include tracking for peace-of-mind. Delivery time estimates are based on shipments from Los Angeles, California, USA.
If the mail gets lost in transit at the fault of the courier, I’ll either help resolve the issue with the courier, or (if it’s cost-effective to do so) replace and re-ship up to one time at no additional cost to you.
I check every shipping label with the exact address you provide. Re-shipping mail sent to a wrong address will incur additional costs.

I retain the rights to my work. You retain the rights to your intellectual property.
I may use a portion of the work for marketing and promoting my commissions.
I may sell physical prints or other merchandise of the work if appropriate, and I’ll let you know if I plan to do so.
You may reproduce and modify the finished work for personal, non-commercial use. This includes things like publishing to your personal social media, making edits for profile pictures and memes, and including them in videos and live streams.
You may NOT use any portion of the work for commercial purposes. I may make exceptions depending on its use, so please ask me first.
You may NOT reproduce or make modifications to the work in ways that violate my terms of service.
You may NOT, under any circumstances, use or otherwise associate any portion of my work with generative content training sets, blockchain technologies, or metaverse applications.
